- FEATURES:
These designs provide attractive, easy to read Analogue World Time at
a glance.
- USES:
These designs function in Clocks, Watches
and Manual World Time Indicators
- BENEFITS:
Useful for anyone wanting to know the time in any area of the world,
when communicating by phone, fax, e-mail or on a chat line. Useful in
the travel industry, international business, and the educational systems.
This simple World Time design adds a timely feature to existing clocks
and watches for today's ever shrinking world.
- DESIGN:
The design was created by developing a flat SOUTH POLAR projection of the
earth. This projection was necessary because the earth is rotating clockwise
from the SOUTH POLE and counter clockwise from the NORTH POLE. The 24 standard
time zones were then color coded on the land areas, each time zone has it's
own color coordinated hour indicator around the perimeter of the map. The
map is rotated once a day by the means of a 24 hour quartz movement.
